Description:

Battery switches/battery isolators are used in commercial vehicles, camping vehicles, mobile homes, the military, racing vehicles and boats.
This prevents unwanted power consumption when the vehicle is not in use and the discharge of the starter battery due to leakage currents during longer periods of inactivity.
A battery disconnect switch also serves to secure the vehicle against unauthorized use, in the event of an emergency or if there is a risk of a short circuit in the vehicle electrical system.
